Today was date day.
We went for ice cream. It just sounded good lately.
I don't know why, I get in the mood for ice cream in the winter lol
J order: double fold vanilla x cinnamon snickerdoodle
R order: Arbequina Olive Oil
It was soooo yummy. I absolutely loved the olive oil flavor.
And one of our favorite cafes was just across the street from the ice cream shop so we stopped for our favorite pastry on our way back home.

In the evening we finally went to try a local pizza place that I've wanted to try the entire time we've lived here (like... almost four years? Lol) but somehow we've just never gone.
R order: pesto sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, red pepper, pepperoncini with extra bake

Now my tummy is full and I'm sleepy.
I've never heard of olive oil in ice cream! What does it taste like? Is there another flavor as the base?
返信削除Tbh, I wouldn't say it had much of a discernible olive oil flavor. It had a rich and sort of salty base and a nice creamy texture but mostly the flavor was just kinda vague, so hard to describe ww. Kinda similar to buttered popcorn jellybeans except not gross hahahaha
