What nice weather today! It's finally sunny and warm and starting to move to Spring time.Today I slept in so hard that I didn't even wake up to cook J breakfastI woke up around 10:30 and I couldn't even open my eyes for a while.

But now I'm feeling so refreshed and liberated after that looming appointment is behind me. I took the dog for a walk and I'm spending the day reading old blogs to gain inspiration and blog ideas.

Yesterday I said I'd show what we got J for his birthday (other than the thing I got on AliEx which isn't coming yet w). Maybe you're like "why would we care" but it's home items so it's relevant to my content anyways.

We got him a standing lamp and a new comforter and bed set!

We recently gave up on our fancy plush grass-looking comforter because it's just... impossible to wash. We had gone back to our old one but J just hates old things so I thought a new one would make him happy. Plus I thought the busy pattern will hide the dog hair and dirt better. AND THESE CAN BE WASHED IN OUR WASHER AT HOME! ALL IN ONE LOAD!

Also, this morning I got to take out the first of these nice fancy hand soaps we bought from Costco a few months ago. The bottles are glass and the look is very nice so I'm pretty excited about them.

Is homemaking content boring? Well too bad because I have no life.
