A little DIY

Hello heart pink

I had a little idea a while ago and I finally got around to trying it, and I'm surprised that it worked!happy little pink guy with his hands up

I wanted to try using these little cord clips to hang a lace border on my desk.

a box of small transparent adhesive cord clips is open on the bed, Ray is holding one up to the camera to show it's shape.

Ray is pointing at the edge of his desk, where the lace is intended to go. the junk piled under the desk is blurred out.

I had almost exactly enough of this pink lace from DAISO left over, so I decided to use this.

Ray is holding the pink lace ribbon, it is shiny and solid on the top layer and netted lace on the bottom layer.

I attached the cord clips on the inside of the desk so that they won't be visible from the front.

The transparent cord clip is adhered to the backside of the desk's front bar

Then I just slipped the lace into the clip...

The lace is inserted into the first clip and is hanging down on the other end.

The grip isn't severe, and I think it could fall out easily, but for now it's staying in place, and I'm totally surprised it worked!

The desk now has a pink lace accent underneath, and the junk under the desk is blurred out.

It's something small but I think it adds something, and it's these little things that will make my area look more dramatic overall.
