New Keyboard!!!!

 

The first of the black friday gets has arrived, I finally got a new keyboard!

For years until now, I've been using this keyboard.

I think at the time I bought it, it was like $16? But it's a little more now.

For that price. it's not so bad, but there are some things I hate about it:

1. The keys are so ridiculously loud, especially the space bar. Like, People make fun of it on discord calls...

and 2. The rollover is terrible. So both writing and playing games is annoying. 

finally 3. Something about the design and layout, or maybe the round keys, makes it extremely hard to type on. I feel illiterate, messing up and mistyping constantly wwww

For those reasons and because I want more customizability/swappability, I have been shopping for a new keyboard for a while now. 

I originally wanted the Bakaneko65, but they've been out of the colors I want for ever so I got tired of waiting.

I went with the Yunzii B87 and

wow, I'm totally impressed!!

For the price, I'm sure it's not the nicest keyboard on the planet, but I don't have crazy standards either. 

I'm just picky, and it suited my tastes.

I'm not the biggest fan of the heart detail, but it's charming, and I LOVEEEE rounded keycaps. 

Also, the sound of these switches (cocoa cream v2, it says) is really nice. I bought alternative silent switches expecting not to like it, but I think I'm gonna keep them actually.

I think it goes with the desk theme pretty well.

Next I need to replace the desk mat with a pink one and get speakers!

We had a second family dinner today

And while we were over, I took the opportunity to take home this clothing rack MiL has had stored for some time. 

The closet life wasn’t working out for me. I wanted to go back to how I did it in the last apartment: closet used to store excess clothes and clothing rack for the clothes I’m currently wearing.

I bought some desk stuff on Black Friday discount I can’t wait to show y’all

There was a new fruits themed Nancy series, I really wanted the lemon of course but I got the pear and traded with MiL because she was aiming for the pear and got the mangosteen wwww

Also MiL got me some presents SO SWEET!!

And she got matching for herself 

Yesterday was Thanksgiving for USians so we had dinner with the family as usu 

MiL doesn’t like turkey so she always makes a chicken instead, I really like the way she makes it!

This year I made a fluff salad. I think it went over pretty well. Everyone loves a fluff salad. 

Bleh

 I want to write on the blog but I’ve not done anything 

Which is okay because actually I should just rest. 

But it means I have nothing to show 

We did complete a third miniature kit the day before yesterday!

We built two kits today, a burger shop and a boba tea shop.

We still have two more, and we will probably get more later because they are so fun. 

They also light up! But we haven't plugged it in yet.

I've mostly not been posting because I'm too lazy to take pics...

I put up the christmas decorations after I got home from Kansas.

We went and got some new stuff from Michaels too, I really love the retro style goods.

I also got some candy canes for the tree (I think it's totally required) but the mini ones I got didn't come shrink wrapped, they came in little bags, so I couldn't use them for the tree. I had to use the full size...

I went online to see if I could get the battery replaced in my watch and Apple called my watch vintage.

Not just obsulete, but VINTAGE. 

I have never seen them use this term before.

I will show onegets.

I finally got my most wanted labubu LOYALTY! 

Now if I were to try to finish the series I will only need two more. Serenity (green) and the secret Id...

The chances of not getting a duplicate at this point are super low and honestly it's insane that I haven't gotten a dupe already...

Also, a new figurine series was released a few days ago called 1A.M.

The concept being very late night activities.

I really wanted the "Scary Time", the one wrapped in a blanket.

But I got "Phone Time" and "Hugging Time".

I really like them, they're super cute. The flocking is so adorable and the sleepy concept really speaks to me ww

I love that Tycoco looks a little horny... it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

I started Once Upon A Katamari!!!!

It seems so awesome so far. But I already got a bit stuck ww

Finally, I wanna tell about the pie I made today.

Multiple budget food youtubers I watch have made variations on this in their thanksgiving menus this year (including Dollar Tree Dinners and That Lisa Dawn) and seeing it made multiple times gave me a craving for it so I had to make one myself.

the way I made it,  it's just one pack of JELLO vanilla pudding mix, 2 cups half and half (I forgot to buy milk), a tub of Cool Whip, and a pinch of salt poured over a layer of Nilla Wafers. So yummy!

I know this is an absolute classic for Americans growing up in many parts of the country but actually I've never had it before ww

My mom was so into health food when I was growing up, they never made this.
