MY 24TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

 

Yesterday was my Birthday Party Slumber Party! Buriちゃん very kindly hosted at her place and it was absolutely amazing!!

To Buriちゃん: Thankyou for everything!

Felix and Zergy came from several hours away and I'm soooo happy and thankful they came.Zergy made strawberry cream pastries and they were soooo yummy!

J also came for a while, and he had fun which is rare. Buriちゃん let him try out the VR headset and play BeatSaber! 

The theme was "jungle" and we decorated like our lives depended on it.

Buriちゃん had the phenomenal idea to put the chamoy and tajin on the cake, IT WAS SO GOOD.

And then... Surprise!

We planned a dance!

Buriちゃん did the awesome edit. 

This was my first time doing something like this and it was super fun! You can tell by my face that I was nervous ww. I didn't have time to totally practice the dance before the party so I crammed with Buri the night before and I had to completely dissociate or else I'd mess up wwww.

I'm looking forward to learning and dancing more para again with PRYSMIQUE, having such talented and creative friends is generally inspiring me to be more creative and do more again. I'm sorry for getting sentimental for a second, but the love my friends show me seriously means so much to me.

You maybe noticed that GACKT has been a consistent presence in the party... well part of the party was cuddling up and watching my favorite movie MOONCHILD.

It's an action movie from 2003 starring GACKT, Hyde, and Leehom Wang. It's related to GACKT's "Moon Saga" which is extremely complicated and confusing and high concept in general, and this movie also exactly fits that description. I recommend you watch it, it's on Youtube. If you're sober you'll probably hate it so take an edible first...

Well, since I knew we were going to watch it, I joked about printing out a GACKT face and taping it to a piñata, and then it kind of devolved from there and this specific photo of GACKT from the movie's photobook has become like a personal meme for me. no one else finds it as funny as me.
