I’m such a narcissist

I get disappointed when I refresh my blog and find that I haven’t updated.

Even though I’m the one who has to write it… 

Well I’m blogging from my phone from the shower because I’m frozen wwww

I went to Target today with MiL

I don’t take coord pic because it was slobby and gray sweats (that I stained with coffee right on the front in the morning T_T)

My momma gave me some christmas money so I bought some stuff…  I should’ve saved it to pay my bills but that felt sick…

(Ignore my dirty couch omg I need to wash it lol. It’s the dog and rainy season… it’s impossible to keep it clean…)

Actually about those cups, last week when MiL and I were doing a cleaning project together, I used a very similar cup and I joked that “I don’t think you can even buy these, I think they just show up in your house and you never know where they came from”.

And when we were at Target, there they were! For 50c each!! So I took two because they are so good to have. 

These lazy susan shelves were $5 each and I couldn’t resist them, they look so nice. Although, I didn’t end up liking it where I intended to put one so now I’m not totally sure where they’ll go wwww

For New Years I was thinking of doing a high contrast lip, although I normally don’t like that look, so I was looking at CVS for a concealer stick that would work, and I found this! 

I thought it’s exactly perfect, it even comes packaged like a lipstick!

So I will try it and report back on how it looks. 

Also also, J just played through Home Safety Hotline and I got to watch! So exciting! 

It’s definitely one of my favorite games.

We went to MiL's to spend the afternoon with MiL, BiL and his partner.

We decorated cookies (premade because lazy)

J went outside because he was hot...and scared me when I looked up...

MiL did a grab bag of mini desk novelties as a fun little game, 

J puled the one I wanted so we traded and I got my little marquee sign

And also I pulled ANOTHER O (third time) so MiL kindly traded with me for H.

I got my hair done today.

Actually it's because my bangs were clipped up before that wwww

The result is... actually I don't like it very much this time. It's extremely green. And also she didn't give me a trim... 

Whatever, it will wash out quickly and I can trim it at home to an extent.

What's really important is getting my roots done and I got it so I'm ok.

after I got out of the salon, J surprised me with some blind boxes!!

I got another O!!!! lol

the whole alphabet + a few extras and I got a dupe after only 4 pulls. Crazy.

At least I don't actually have 2 because I sold the first O. But he grew on me and I actually really like him now. So I'm gonna keep him for sure.

And he also got me one of the ring boxes, and I got Hacipupu which I don't care about at all. But actually this one is quite beautiful and I think the little angels inside look like us wwww

Now I'm just so exhausted as if I actually did anything today w

New Phone Again

 

I got a new phone again...

It's called ALT MIVE Style Folder 1

AT-M120

I really liked the 902KC, it was perfect in every way except one: 

When I deleted Facebook Messenger I went back to LINE, 

And the 902KC does not have Google Play service, so LINE can't get notifications properly.

If I want to use LINE on it, I have to remember to manually check all the time if anyone contacted me, which is impossible for me...

And the 902KC bootloader is permanently locked so no MicroG either. 

So basically I had to give up on that phone if I want to use LINE unfortunately.

I'm pretty sad about it because I really liked it.

I could've upgraded to the newer A202KC or KY42C which can have MicroG added in some cases, but then I saw something that interested me...

Very recently there was success in making this other smart flip work in my area of the US, it was not really known before that if it worked or on what carrier. 

So I decided to blindly trust what one person said and just buy it and switch carriers and just hope for the best lol

and it worked!

Well it's not perfect, sometimes it's dropping service randomly (it did it once early this morning and once while I'm writing this). I hope I can work that out and it will be fine though.

I bought it on GlobalBunjang through Delivered. I paid $39.34 USD for the phone and $49.31 for shipping and customs.

So yeah... I paid more on importing it than I did on the phone itself... If you wondered what the tariff from Korea was like, now you know w.

Here's some basics about the phone:

It's a completely smart flip phone with a touchscreen and it runs Android 12Go.

I can see that the date of the first call made on my unit was in September 2024, so it's a little over a year old! (how cool)

There is a newer Style Folder 2 that runs Android 14Go but I didn't think I need it. Also, there weren't many available on the secondhand sites anyways. 

It has 2GB RAM so it's twice what I had on the old flip, so this phone can even run Youtube, streaming apps, SNS, photo editing apps, etc! 

Of course I'm not using much of any of that though.

Oh also it has a 3.5mm headphone jack! My old flip did not have this, very exciting.

And, a front facing camera!

The major downside to this phone is obviously it's size... I mean this thing is insane. 

It really feels ridiculous and cartoonish in my hand lol

compared to an iPhone 13

But it is what it is. I had to trade off style and form factor to get google play service. 

I wanna say, a lot of people call this a dumbphone, say they're gonna use it for "digital detoxing", etc. 

That really annoys me honestly. 

This is NOT a dumbphone, it barely even qualifies as a feature phone, only by the fact that it's running the Go version of android rather than the full OS.

You can run any SnS on it, youtube, streaming, spotify, chatgpt, it's literally just a smartphone. If this is a dumbphone, all phones are dumbphones wwww
